Terms of Service

Who can use FloraVerse

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country. You must give accurate sign-up information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person.

The service

FloraVerse offers AI plant identification and diagnosis, plant case tracking, a community feed, and a marketplace with messaging for buying and selling real plants. Some features, such as the virtual garden, FloraPoints, and gifts, may only be available in some versions of the app. We may change, add, or remove features over time.

Community rules

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, list, or send:

• harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech;
• sexual or sexually suggestive content, or anything that sexualizes or endangers minors;
• graphic violence, self-harm content, or content that promotes dangerous acts;
• scams, spam, misleading listings, or impersonation;
• illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• other people's personal information without their consent.

Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

You can report any post, comment, listing, or conversation from its ⋮ menu, and report any AI result with "Report this result". Reports are private.

You can block anyone from the same menu. Blocked people can't message you or send you gifts, and you won't see their posts, comments, or listings. You can unblock people in Settings → Blocked users.

We review reports promptly, normally within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these Terms, and we may suspend or permanently ban accounts that post it or put other users at risk.

Marketplace

The marketplace is for real, legal plants. Buyers and sellers agree on the price, payment, and handover between themselves. FloraVerse is not a party to the sale, does not handle payments, and is not responsible for the condition of plants, delivery, or disputes between users.

You must not list: plants or seeds that are illegal, controlled, or restricted where you or the buyer live (including drug-producing plants); protected or endangered species; invasive species where their sale is banned; animals; pesticides or chemicals; or anything that isn't a plant.

Listings must accurately describe the plant. Sellers may cancel a listing at any time. Meet in a safe public place and inspect the plant before paying.

AI results

Identifications and diagnoses are automated estimates. They can be wrong and are not professional botanical, agricultural, medical, or veterinary advice. Don't rely on them to decide whether a plant is safe to eat, touch, or keep around children or pets. Confirm important decisions with a qualified expert.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give FloraVerse a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to run the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account. Only upload content you have the right to share.

Ads

FloraVerse is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are labelled and are provided by third parties; we don't endorse the products advertised and aren't responsible for them. Don't tap ads on purpose to generate revenue or ask others to, and don't use tools that interfere with how ads are shown or counted.

Feedback and ratings

Ratings and feedback are always optional. Feedback you send in the app goes privately to our team, and we may use it to improve FloraVerse without any obligation to you. Reviews on Google Play are separate and are governed by Google's policies.

FloraPoints and virtual items

FloraVerse doesn't currently sell FloraPoints or other virtual items. Where FloraPoints or virtual items are available, they are a limited licence to use within FloraVerse: they have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred except as the app allows. If we sell them in the future, purchases will be processed by Google Play or the App Store and follow their refund rules.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms. The sections on your content licence, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.

Disclaimers and liability

FloraVerse is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including plant loss, missed reminders, incorrect AI results, or disputes between users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Changes to these Terms

When we make material changes, we'll ask you to review and accept the updated Terms in the app before you continue. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
